100 Facts of Finny -- Part 3
First of all, I want to wish a very happy birthday to one of my hockey heart favorites, Shane O'Brien. He's 25 today! Woot!
Let's hope he's much happier when he celebrates his birthday, eh?
Now, back to your regularly scheduled program: Part 3 of the 100 Facts of Finny!
(51) I remember random, useless information like today is Shane O'Brien's birthday. But I forget other useful information like, what's my password is for various websites.
(52) I have never played spin the bottle. The idea of kissing some random person that the bottle points to is kind of, um, unappealing.
(53) I can't cook to save my life. Alright, so that's not entirely true. I can cook very simple things, but I have to follow the recipe exactly. I can't just toss something together out of nowhere, and I get super stressed out about letting someone try something I've made. If I'm cooking for me, it doesn't matter as much if it's barely edible. But it's kind of embarrassing is to let someone eat something I'm not 100% confident about.
(54) I love the ocean, but never wade in further than my knees. It isn't because I'm afraid of swimming in the ocean. That's easy. It's that I don't like sand ending up in random places where it should never be.
(55) I'm a sorority girl. And I never thought I would be. But the girls I'm sisters with are all individually amazing.
(56) I've always been a bit of a tomboy. I blame my brothers, but my mom says that I never spoke to a girl until I was in the third grade. Every girl I did hang with were every bit as tomboyish as I was.
(57) I used to go to the same church as Jessica Alba. She was still doing Flipper at the time, and I did speak to her on occasion, but not often. She probably doesn't remember me anymore, but her brother was in my youth group!
(58) I studied Japanese for two and a half years. I no longer remember most of it.
(59) Like all typical Asians, I drive a Honda Civic. However, I will be buying a new car within a year.
(60) My current favorite drink to order at Starbucks is a Venti Iced Black Tea w/ a splash of Breve. Apparently, adding cream to iced tea is "Southern thing".
(61) I am not a big gambler. I do, however, love playing poker and 21.
(62) I hardly ever wear make-up. Pretty much, the only times I ever put on make-up is for going out. I almost never wear it for work or class.
(63) I have dyed my hair blue-black, reddish-brown, and highlighted it carmel and blonde. These days, I find that it's too much work and money to keep up with dying it, so it's all natural.
(64) I have two tatoos and plan on getting more. The first is a Celtic knot w/ a butterfly on my left hip. The second is a star of David on the back of my neck. My next one may be a white tattoo.
(65) I dropped out of graduate school. I grew disinterested and bored with the program, and I felt as if it was geared towards a future I didn't want.
(66) I believe in angels and demons. And not the Dan Brown variety.
(67) I am only half-adventurous. I would never skydive or bungee jump, but I would totally go white water rafting!
(68) I learned how to play with Photoshop & HTML all by myself. Once things like XML got introduced, I quit.
(69) I'm very particular about how my books are treated. I cannot have the spine of a book cracked, or I will cry and buy a new copy.
(70) I sing (poorly) and dance (bounce?) in my car while driving. I also have a bad habit of texting and driving.
(71) I do not karaoke in public. My family -- being Filipino -- enjoys karaoke during parties. I am not one to participate often. I worry that the cats will start crying.
(72) I went through a ghetto-fab phase during my years in junior college. Meaning, I danced hip hop and wore hip hop brands (Ecko, Rocawear, and Baby Phat).
(73) I hate olives and avocado. I don't know why, I'm just not a fan.
(74) My first kiss was in the 8th grade, given to a younger boy. It was then that I should've realized that I had a penchant for "bad boys". I got over the "bad boy" thing when I hit 22.
(75) I never wear a watch. I just check my phone! :)
Can you tell that I'm running out of things to say? Who knew it'd be so hard to come up with 100 facts?! The final installment is coming your way soon!

5 cheers and jeers:
I can assure you, as a native Southerner, that adding cream to iced tea IS NOT a "southern thing". In 36 years of drinking iced tea, the only time I have seen cream added has been in Thai restaurants.
hahaha you're fab.
You like playing '21'? Do you mean blackjack? Even though I'm not a Southerner, I have to agree with 'd-lee', I don't think putting cream in iced tea is a southern thing. However, they do like their Sweet Tea!
Whoa to #57 thats awesome!
And I agree with the feet thing. I hate feet.
(69) I'm very particular about how my books are treated. I cannot have the spine of a book cracked, or I will cry and buy a new copy.
I don't cry but I love my books too.
