Well, not anymore. The Anaheim Ducks have announced (and I'm a little late on the up-take) a new affiliation with an Iowa-based AHL team in Des Moines.
The team name, logo, and colors will be revealed in July 2008.
Could yet another bird-themed name be soon joining the flock?
